We're not home yet, but nearly. Well, nearly except for a
veeery long flight. We leave at 10 in the morning, then arrive home at 9pm the next evening, with stop overs in Helsinki and
Hong Kong. The children have turned slightly
ferrel with the constant attention and now seem to think that they constantly need someone to entertain them, play with them and generally shower them with every focused thought that comes out of a person's head. Considering the car trip to London the flight is looking less and less appealing.
Anyway, the highlights (apart from seeing the
fam of course, which was the main reason for the trip and just awesome) ...
- Seeing a bus, a week before Xmas, totally decked out with tinsel and baubles, with the bus driver wearing a full Santa suit.
- Gypsies
- The aqueduct in Wales (there will be a full post on Wales, don't worry)
- Snow on our last day in Birmingham - enough to make a few snowballs and entertain the kids for an hour or so.
Will write more and post some more photos when we get back and have recovered. This was just a little note to appease Linda really!

i wondered where you'd gotten too and got all worried and then got and realized, damn, you've been having fun!
so cool about the trip...can't wait to hear the lowdown. hope you're feeling well, will catch up soon.
