Christmas Day

Wow. Wow. That was the most hectic Xmas Day I've ever had, and damn was it fun! We visited 4 houses (one twice) before lunch, distributing and collecting presents as we went. We had Santa sacks in the morning, and a few presents with Nanny. Lots of chocolate, chips and lollies for brekkie, then it was off to see Santa at Grandda's house. From there we went to see Will's siblings. Linda, then Kev, then Ev, then back to Linda's because all Ev's lot were at Linda's by the time we arrived there. Finally we arrived back at Lil's for a yummy traditional Xmas lunch and then a whole heap more presents. Xmas pudding for dinner and off to bed. Phew! I'm exhausted again just writing that. Euey was up first and checked out what Santa had brought him.

and chocolate!He kindly shared his chocolate bounty with Aoife, even though she wasn't quite ready to appreciate it yet.

But she was pretty pleased when she woke up a few moments later.

Then we started to get a bit rowdy so we moved the party down to the living room, where Nanny and Pepper soon joined us.

More presents and fun stuff.

Then it was off to see Santa in person at Granda's house.

Granda himself was at the shops when Santa came, but was consoled with a cuddle when he got home.

The trips around and about were a bit quick and chaotic for many photos, but then after a big sleep and some turkey we calmed down for a little more present opening.

And then more turkey and lots of peas and carrots for dinner before bed. (Well, the kids had turkey, peas and carrots, I just had pudding and ice-cream!)
