Because the odd random 40 degree day wasn't hot enough for us we escaped to Qld for a Summer holiday. Far out was it HOT! And humid. The kids swam every day, but that wasn't enough according to them. We stayed with my grandmother who lives on the Kawana Canal system on the Sunshine Coast. Some days they swam in the pool, the canal and the surf - and it still wasn't enough! We had a fantastic time, and all of us came home with tans (despite layers and layers of suncreem) except Euey. He still has his lily white Irish skin intact.
We also headed down to Coffs Harbour to visit Cath, but no photos from there 'cause the camera batteries went dead. Cath was taking so many photos I didn't bother to replace them - she takes better photos than me anyway. So photos will follow.

We visited the Uni my cousin will go to this year - and there were kangaroos on the main lawn!
Aoife got a fairy dress for Chrissy from my Aunt and decided to put it straight on over her bathers.

hey you guuuyyyysssss, lovely pics, what a difference a year makes last year they were shivering little soilders and now the are sun kissed and so grown up the love you can see in the boys faces is lovely and aoife looks like a little princess..i would give anything for 20 degrees we have mamaged to climb to 5 you lucky so and so's 40+ lin xx
